Six year old Ivor made a huge splash for FAST UK by swimming every day for an entire week to raise funds and awareness for Angelman syndrome.
From 7–13 June, Ivor took part in his Splashathon at Monmouth Sports Club. His sisters, Bethan and Olwen, were by their little brother’s side throughout the week, joining in with the swimming and Splashathon fun and making it a wonderful family challenge.
Ivor lives with Angelman syndrome and is the son of FAST UK Trustee Sarah Washbrook. The family created the Splashathon to celebrate everything Ivor can do while helping to raise awareness and support research into effective treatments for Angelman syndrome.
Together, they raised a fantastic £963, which was doubled to an incredible £1,926 thanks to matched funding from Addleshaw Goddard LLP.
