We were absolutely honoured and privileged to meet this amazing guy on Friday. Curtis Rona has been a FAST ambassador over in Australia, while playing rugby for the Waratahs. Raising much awareness for Angelman syndrome during his games. But what is Australia’s loss is our gain. He’s now playing rugby here in the UK for London Irish Rugby Club and is keen to carry on his ambassador role by continuing to campaign for awareness of AS for FAST UK – Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics. The club are amazing and are so supportive. Massive thanks to the club and eternally grateful to Frank Caracoglia who set the meeting up. A warm welcome to the UK and special thanks to Curtis for his hospitality, showing us around the training ground and carrying on his role of ambassador for FAST. The Angelman community can’t thank you enough
